フテンマ・フライトライン・フェア2013
フテンマ・フライトライン・フェア2013のイベント情報です。
毎年開催されています、フテンマのフライトライン・フェア。航空機ファンの方にも人気の高いイベントですよね。
全国的にも注目を集めている普天間航空基地。最近はいってないのでどんな感じなんでしょう～。
昨年は、このblogがほとんど更新されていなくて、でも、米軍基地のイベントのある度にアクセスを頂いていて…いやーサボりすぎました(笑)
最近は、Facebookの方も自分のページはあんまり更新していなくて…って長くなりそうなので、イベント情報ですっ
真夏のイメージだったフテンマのフライトラインフェアですが、今年で三年目の6月開催です。
しかし、沖縄は6月でも台風が油断できないという。。。天候に左右されずに開催できるのは、10月後半〜5月上旬と言った所でしょうか。
ん？意外と長いですね。でも寒い時期のイベントは雰囲気でないですよね〜。特に基地内はひろーい所にイベント会場があるので、駐車場からイベント会場が離れていると冬はつらい。でも、夏も暑くて大変ですが、あ、飲み物が売れていいのか。なるほど。

While MCCS summer festivals have many things in common,
they each boast a specialty. Schwab Fest is the season's inaugural event featuring big-name bands from the States;
the Courtney Festival is a holiday wonderland starring Santa. And in between the two in June is the MCAS Futenma Flightline Fair, famous for military static displays and amusement rides.
Festival-goers interested in props and wings, live entertainment and more will get their fill at the fest on Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, from 2 to 10 p.m. Static displays showcasing the best of Marine Corps aviation are slated to include both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.
Meanwhile, MCCS Entertainment will bring us Flyleaf, a platinumselling hard rock band from Texas known for their songs " I’m so Sick" and "Fully Alive." Kiddos can partake in game booths and a Kiddie Land. All weekend long vendors will dish up yakitori, burgers, pizza or sweets. To end the summer's best fest with a bang, stick around for fireworks on Sunday night.
The Futenma Flightline Fair is open to all SOFA status individuals and Japanese with access to MCAS Futenma. Free shuttle buses will provide transportation to and from designated parking lots on the base. No pets, outside alcohol, bottles or coolers are allowed.
The fair is sponsored in part by Miller. As always, MCCS encourages everyone to drink responsibly; daiko and taxi services will be available.
